Happy Valentines Day!

Penelope and Olga have been very busy this month, what with protesting at the airport, standing with Planned Parenthood and working to help immigrants settle in. Today they are having a Valentine Tea - better late than never- with their friends, the Wooden Ladies. Penelope carries a big wooden heart and wears a pink linen skirt with red and white checkered blouse and bloomers. Her outfit is for sale on my Etsy site. Nadezhda is 5 inches tall and hails from the old USSR. She has seen some tough times and is glad to be in sunny California! She brought her samovar with her, all the way from Russia. Meanwhile her friend, Zlata and her daughters Zlatica and Dusan have prepared fruit and cakes. The Wooden Ladies are not for sale.

Hello everyone! My name is Penelope and I am an East Bay Girl. I am also a doll, 18" tall. Today I am having a New Year's Tea with my Russian friend, Olga. We are so sad because our countries are not being friends right now. Olga and I have a New Year's message for you though: May Peace Prevail on Earth!

 Lots of people say I look just like an American Girl Doll! But my mom always says, "Truth will tell" so I never take claim to that brand.
